South Bend convenience store giving away free Mega Millions tickets

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Friday is the last chance to pick up a Mega Millions ticket for the big drawing.

It's now the biggest jackpot ever. The Mega Millions is worth $540 million amd long lines have been wrapping around stores across the country.  

Everyone is hoping to score the winning ticket, and if you want to save a buck you have a chance to snatch a free Mega Millions ticket today.

Between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., the Hoosier Lottery will set up shop outside the KB Express Mart on Dixie Way in South Bend.

Folks who work there are ready for massive crowds.

"I’m expecting a line around the building," said Philana Dungey.

There's no guarantee tickets will last for two hours. They'll be passed out on a first come first serve basis.
