Odd jobs for unemployed
Group offers life line for those without work
Odd jobs are providing a life line for Elkhart's unemployed.
The jobs come thanks to an organization called "Elkhart County Works Together."
The group, created by unemployed workers, has an online skills bank that helps those without work find odd jobs in the area.
The group says jobs like raking leaves can make a real difference for those suffering through the economic downturn.
Their goal is to get 1000 hours of work for the unemployment before next wednesday.
