Dozens of jobs will return to area

Jayco Incorporated says it's re-opening one of its Indiana factories.

The Topeka facility was closed more than a year ago, but Jayco plans to resume production of its Starcraft Travel Trailers in May.  They plan to hire an estimated 50 workers.

Company officials say business is recovering after the national recession decimated their business.

Jayco announced in November it had recalled or hired more than 200 workers as orders increased.

Jayco is among several RV companies that laid off thousands of workers from northern Indiana plants since the recession began in 2008.
