Bodies found with no trauma

Two people found dead Friday morning in Mishawaka do not appear to be the victims of a homicide or murder-suicide, according to police.

The bodies of 39-year-old John Lee and 44-year-old Karen Mazziotti were found at 8:06 Friday morning in an upstairs apartment located at 512 West Battell Street. The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit was called in to investigate. An autopsy showed no trauma on either body.

Officials are still waiting on toxicology results.
