Berrien County opening multi agency flood relief center

Berrien County has opened a multi-agency relief center to provide assistance to residents affected by February's flood.

Area agencies including the Berrien County Office of Emergency Management, City of Niles, Salvation Army Niles, United Way of Southwest Michigan, 2-1-1, Team Rubicon and the Red Cross of Southwest Michigan will have representatives at the center.

The center will be open Friday, March 9 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday, March 12 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The center is at First Presbyterian Church, 13 S. 4th Street in Niles.
