SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On the second winter day at Potawatomi Zoo, animal lovers in South Bend were able to enjoy some of their furry friends.

The zoo is closed during the winter, but for a few special days during the cold season, the zoo opens so people can see the winter animals.

It was a nice break from the frigid temps for the zoo-goers. The Potawatomi Zoological Society also sold Adopt an Animal packages at the Learning Center.

The zoo's third winter day is on March 27th.
