Corbett campaign hires attorney, will ask for recount

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Tim Corbett for Sheriff Committee announced Friday it will request a recount in the St. Joseph County Sheriff's race.
Bill Redman won the democratic nomination with 9,059 votes to Corbett's 9,041 votes, according to the unofficial election results.
The campaign has hired William Groth, an attorney experienced in recount cases. He is with the Indianapolis firm Fillenwarth Dennerline Groth & Towe, LLP.
The campaign says they are requesting a recount because of the "razor thin" margin.
