EDWARDSBURG, Mich. – There was a single vehicle accident on the corner of Monette Street and Robinson Road in Edwardsburg on Monday evening.
Cass County Sheriff's Department, Penn Township Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance were on the scene.
The call came in at 6:49 p.m.
Officials say the vehicle crashed into a tree, lost control, and went off a steep embankment that lead into a creek
A tow truck was called for extraction.
According to the Cass County Sheriff's Department, the driver of the car died.
Speed and road conditions may have been a factor.
