Driver killed in crash on US 6

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The driver of a pickup truck was killed in a crash with a semi on US 6 on Wednesday morning.
A pickup truck was traveling east on US 6 when he went left of center and collided head on with a semi headed westbound.
The driver of the semi attempted to swerve and drove off the road and hit a NIPSCO utility pole.
The driver of the pickup, 25-year-old Anthony Eddy, died at the scene.
The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
