Elkhart County Parks hosts annual Bug Night

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart County Parks will host its annual Bug Night.

The insect-inspired event will be held at Cobus Creek County Park on Aug. 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The two hour event will offer the chance for interesting and unique insect encounters and hands-on activities.

Participants can enjoy tasting chocolate covered crickets, holding a praying mantis, and interactive activities such as eye-spy searches for aquatic insects, demonstrations on how to raise bees and butterflies and more.

Admission is $2 per person and is open to all ages.
