A famous action star is teaming up to help prevent future school shootings.

Steven Segal went to work with a police force in Arizona and put people through realistic shooting situations with gunmen inside of a school.

Segal had experience with police training, so he wanted to lend a hand.

The goal was to prepare people to guard Arizona schools and students; however, not everyone was on board.

"Right now, we have armed guards at banks and jewelry stores and all kind of other establishments that have money, but the greatest treasure we have is our children," said Segal.

"This is not what our schools are for," said Cynthia Wharton, who was against the school demonstration. "They are not game arenas for Steven Segal and vicious, violent games."

The training was monitored by Arizona sheriffs and Segal himself.
