Free cat adoptions on Saturday September 8 Tailgate Event

The Humane Society of St. Joseph County is offering free cat adoptions on Saturday, September 8 at its adoption center.

The event will be from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the adoption center, 2506 Grape Road in Mishawaka.

You can get pre-approved by filling out an application before the event by filling out an application at the office or on the website.

When filling out the application, note you are interested in the Tailgate Event.

Cat adoptions will be free with an approved application.

Cats must leave in a secure carrier. Cardboard carriers will be available for $5.

In addition to over 100 cats available for adoption, there will be a cash concession stand and tailgate games.
