GOSHEN, Ind. -- Goshen police officials are responding to a threat that was found written on a note in the girls' bathroom at Goshen High School.
According to authorities the note was found on Friday.
The matter is being investigated but due to parental and staff concerns, and the police will have additional officer presence at GHS next school-week.
Authorities do not believe the threat is credible, but in light of transparency want to make the community aware and keep minds at ease with the addition of resources.
In a joint statement the school district and law enforcement officials of the Goshen community emphasized reassurance that safety of all students and staff is main goal while taking these extra precautions.
This is an ongoing investigation according to authorities.
