Salmonella outbreak linked to ground beef
MICHIGAN — Federal health officials said a salmonella outbreak could be linked to two Michigan-based companies.
The CDC reported that 16 people have gotten sick from the disease in five states. Most of those cases were reported in Michigan, with a total of nine people.
The disease control organization recommended that people do not eat raw or undercooked ground beef.
So far, there are no reports of deaths linked to the outbreak.
