IHSAA puts off vote on restructuring plan

Big changes could be on the way for basketball across the state of Indiana.

The Indiana High School Athletic Association announced that they have tabled their decision regarding a restructuring plan of existing 4-Class high school basketball system until next month.

If approved, the proposal would mean that the 64 largest schools in Indiana will make up Class 4-A - remaining schools will be divided up into remaining sectional groups.

If passed the IHSAA will hold the first single-class basketball tournament in nearly 20 years.
