SOUTH BEND, Ind. – There will be tree and wreath sales happening in South Bend on the Gridiron for the next two weekends.
Friday through Sunday, people in the area can show their support for three local nonprofits that include Unity Gardens, Cub Scout Pack 541, and Relay for Life.
“We have Downtown for the Holidays, it's a month-long series of events, we have over 50 events this month and a lot of them are free and family friendly,” said Kylie Carter, the Events Coordinator in Downtown South Bend,
Patrons can choose from a wide variety of fresh, locally-grown trees and wreaths from J & K Tree Farm.
The tree and wreath sales will benefit those nonprofit groups and will be available to buy for cash only while supplies last.
Below is a schedule of when those nonprofit groups will be working the tree sale events:
Unity Gardens – December 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Cub Scout Pack 541 – December 8th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m) and December 9th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Relay for Life – December 15th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and December 16th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
