New study finds tsunami aftermath might not have been handled properly

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- A new Notre Dame study says the tsunami aftermath at a nuclear reactor in Japan may not have been handled properly.

At the time of the tsunami, first responders flooded the plant with seawater to keep the nuclear fuel cool.

Now, scientists at Notre Dame say that they believe the seawater may have actually grabbed on to Uranium compounds and may actually transport them over large distances for years to come.
