Old South Bend neighborhood named one of the best in the country

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The online edition of “This Old House” said South Bend has one of the best "old" neighborhoods in the country.

"This Old House" mentioned South Bend's West Washington Neighborhood is a great place to live. It said you'll find beautifully crafted homes.

It’s close to Notre Dame and you can get a fixer-upper for about $70,000. Restored homes can go for around $250,000.
