SOUTH BEND, IN. -- It may only be November, but some people in Michiana are already preparing for a winter wonderland.
The Logan Center in South Bend is hosting their annual holiday bazaar on Saturday.
The bazaar will be filled with a huge variety of artwork and crafts, all created by the Logan Center's clients.
These clients have intellectual and developmental disabilities, and participate in the Studios Program.
The Studios Program is a part of the Logan Center's Adult Day Services, and helps educate and engage men and women with disabilities.
70% of the proceeds from the purchases, go directly to each artist, and the rest go to help fund the Logan Center.
Nancy Miller, the Director of Marketing for the center says, it's inspiring to watch these clients get self-esteem from people buying their art, and getting a paycheck they earned themselves.
The event starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m., but most items are available to order online as well.
