M-139 closed due to crash at intersection

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. – If you are traveling on M-139 from Berrien Springs to Niles Thursday morning, you will need to find an alternative route.
According to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office, the northbound and southbound lanes of M-139 are closed due to a crash at the intersection where Deans Hill Road and Pokagon Road meet.
The crash happened around 7:18 a.m.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries.
There is no word on when the road will reopen.
