Man injured after being shot in Walmart parking lot identified

ELKHART— Elkhart Police have identified a man who was shot in the parking lot of Walmart on C.R. 6 West just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
Investigators say the victim, 36-year-old David Holland, was in the parking lot arguing with an acquaintance when the shooting happened.
Holland suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police say they do not have a detailed description of the suspect, but they do know that the suspect is a male and left the area in an SUV. He is believed to the be the acquaintance of the victim.
