Mayor Buttigieg to temporarily rename South Bend roads on Dyngus Day

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Mayor, Pete Buttigieg will temporarily rename two South Bend Streets on Monday, April 1.
City officials say the intersection of Western Avenue and Laurel Street near Lassalle Landing Lodge will become Solidarity Day Drive at 9:30 a.m.
The other intersection of Ford Street and South Warren Street near the West Side Democratic and Civic Club will become Dyngus Day Drive at noon.
The mayor will also make visits at the UAW Local 5, Hoosier Tap, Fiddler's Hearth, Upper Room Recovery at First United Methodist Church, and the Clay Township Democratic Club to celebrate Solidarity Day as well as Dyngus Day.
