Men arrested on charges matched with Thursday’s bank robbery turned shooting

ELKHART, Ind. – Two men were arrested and preliminarily charged with crimes associated with the events that led to one person being shot by police Thursday afternoon.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall Love, 29 (pictured left), and Devoris James, 28 (pictured right), were arrested on 6th Street and Wolf Avenue around the same time a police chase ended after a bank robbery.

Records indicate Love faces charges of resisting with a vehicle, resisting law enforcement, and two counts of armed robbery. James was charged with driving while suspended and resisting law enforcement.
