Mishawaka costume business Fun F/X closing its Grape Road storefront

MISHAWAKA — Fun F/X is closing its retail location along Mishawaka's Grape Road. According to the company's owner, Victor Cao, the location will close in mid-December but no exact date has been set.

A Facebook post by Fun F/X says the growth of online retail and skyrocketing overhead costs pushed the company to close down the Grape Road storefront. 

The company will move operations to its warehouse in South Bend and begin exclusively offering products on its website, www.funfx.com.

Cao says Fun F/X will open temporary locations in the area during the Halloween season.
