Niles High School holds powderpuff game for hurricane relief

NILES, Mich. – The Niles High School Student Council and Students Against Destructive Decisions joined to raise money for hurricane relief efforts on Sunday.

The two combined to reach a grand total of $1,228 in donations.

Working with the Hand in Hand donation organization the groups collected donations through a powderpuff football game.

The Niles Community Schools staff was also invited to make donations by SADD in order to trade their work clothes for jeans last Friday.

The donations will be distributed by the Hand in Hand organization.
