Niles Police investigating employee death at Paragon Industries

Niles Police responded to a fatal accident at Paragon Industries on Terminal Road in Niles early Tuesday morning.

Officers and first responders arrived around 5:15 a.m. and discovered 64-year-old Dennis Kobb had been run over by the rear wheels of a semi.

Police said Kobb was moving an empty trailer from the loading dock and may have fallen from the cab of the truck. He was caught under the rear tires of the semi.

Cobb was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
