Obamacare could delay some tax refunds

Americans who enrolled in Obamacare through the national healthcare exchange could have their tax refunds delayed.

A national taxpayer advocate representative says it's because of the insurance subsidies.

Some people got those subsidies based on their estimated 2014 income. Now that they know their income from last year, the IRS will make sure all the numbers add up.

The advocacy group says some taxpayers may get more money back, but others may have to pay the government.

The IRS says it held some of those returns for review earlier in the filing season but those returns have been processed or taxpayers contacted to provide more information.
