School Board Fires Benton Harbor Principal

The principal of Benton Harbor High School has been fired. The school board voted to let go Rodger Tripplett at last night's school board meeting.

Superintendent Dr. Shelly Walker says, the board was notified Monday that Tripplett's certification had been suspended. The Department of Education says he had misrepresented information on his re-certification application.

Tripplett had been on paid leave since June. An interim principal has been leading the high school since the new school year started.
