South Bend Center for the Homeless hosts first Lipsync with our Stars

The South Bend Center for the Homeless will host it's first ever Lipsync with our Stars Friday. Local stars will show off their lipsyncing skills, and all proceeds will benefit the Center for the Homeless.

ABC 57 morning anchor Emily Evans and weather specialist Shea Sorenson will be performing!

You can vote for your favorite lip syncer here. Each vote costs $25.

One vote goes toward one day of programming for one child at the center. The Center serves about 60 children a day on average. Overall, they serve 250 men, women and children a night.

That $25 vote can also go toward a hygiene kit for someone staying at the Center.

Starting November 1, the Center will welcome an extra 15 men and three families to get them off the streets and out of the elements, as part of their Winter Amnesty program.

Friday's Lipsync event kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in South Bend.
