South Bend Police investigate shooting on Curtiss Drive

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday night on the 3400 Block of Curtiss Drive.

The authorities say the shooting took place shortly after 11:00 p.m. at Beacon Heights Apartment complex. 

When officials arrived on scene they found a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The injury was non life-threatening.

There is no available suspect information at this time.

Authorities say the case in under investigation and the investigation is being handled by the South Bend Police Investigation Bureau.
