Southwest to add wider seats to some planes

Southwest Airlines is going to make its passengers a little more comfortable.

The airline says it has heard complaints from flyers and says it will make some seats on some of its newer planes wider. They will also be adding more leg room and adjustable headrests.

Southwest and Boeing aren't saying how much wider the redesigned economy seats will be but the current seats are 17 inches wide. First class seats can be as wide as 21 inches.

The new seats will go on the Boeing 737 planes being rolled out next year.
