Masked suspects rob Starke County gas station at gunpoint

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. -- Starke County deputies are looking for several people who robbed a Marathon gas station on SR 23 near Koontz Lake Monday night.
The department says just after 7:30 P.M., several people armed with weapons and wearing bulletproof vests entered the store, fired several gunshots, then left with some cash.
Investigators say the robbers then left the store and may have headed into a wooded area. Police dogs searched for the robbers, but did not find them. The dogs did find some cash and some latex gloves east of the store.
No arrests have been made.
No one inside the store was hurt.
