Summer road construction for SR 933 bridge

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Indiana’s Department of Transportation announced that the SR 933 bridge near Leeper Park will have lane closures.
The bridge that passes over the St. Joseph River will be down to one lane in each direction beginning May 29th.
INDOT will be rehabilitating the bridge deck.
The construction is expected to run through June.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area, if possible, in order to avoid back-ups.
