SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police have made an arrest in a bank robbery and attempted bank robbery that happened at two different locations on W. Western on Thursday.
The first happened in the 1500 block of W. Western at 11:18 a.m. In that case, the suspect did not get away with any money.
The second robbery happened in the 2300 block of W. Western at 12:27 p.m.
There, the suspect handed the teller a note and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
James Spann Jr, 22, has been booked on one preliminary count of robbery in connection with this case, according to police.
