Person stabbed in back, SBPD investigating

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend Police are continuing to investigate after a person was stabbed in the 3900 block of West Jefferson Boulevard early Wednesday morning.

According to police, officers were called to the hospital around 3 a.m. to speak with the victim who had a non-life threatening stab wound to their back.

Throughout the investigation, police learned the victim tried to break up a fight when they were stabbed by an unknown person.
