Appealing property assessments

The St. Joseph County Assessor’s Office will be available at several area library branches during November and December to allow the property taxpayers of St. Joseph County the opportunity to file an appeal on their property assessments after regular business hours.

Everyone in the county can go to any of the branches regardless of which township the property is located in.

The deadline for filing an appeal for 2012 pay 2013 is Wednesday December 26, 2012.
