Fighting Irish introduce football coaches for upcoming season

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The college football season is still months away, but Notre Dame is already gearing up for fall!

The Irish formally introduced coaches for the upcoming season.

Mike Elston, Bob Diaco, and Kerry Cooks are back for the defense.

Defensive Coach Chuck Martin is now the offensive coordinator. He'll also coach the quarterbacks.

"Chuck is experienced and knows what I’m looking for he is a teacher, outstanding coach. He's a great on game day and I think his addition on the offense is a significant improvement for us,” said Coach Brian Kelly.

Intern Scott Booker is also on staff now. He'll coach the tight ends.
