NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Notre Dame women hit the court Tuesday night coming off their first loss since having their 21-game win streak snapped.

The Irish blew out Providence. Devereaux Peters and Skylar Diggins lead the charge, both scoring 19 points. The final score was 66 to 47.

At the game, the Fighting Irish held a “Splish Splash” event. It was a fundraiser for the YWCA.

Fans dropped off towels, wash cloths, soap and toothpaste for those in need in St. Joseph County.
