Body found near dam in St. Joe River identified

Mishawaka Police have released the name of the man whose body was found in the St. Joseph River at the Twin Branch Hydro Electric Dam Wednesday.

An Indiana Michigan Power crew was inspecting the dam when they located the body in the river.

An autopsy was conducted on Thursday and the body was positively identified as a man who was reported missing in October 2014.

The man was identified as 33-year-old Jason Holland.

Police said Holland's last known location was the Motel 6 on Lincolnway and Capital.

Holland was a Marine and served in Iraq.

Police say there was no foul play.
