Stolen racecar recovered in Allegan County

A stolen racecar and enclosed trailer were recovered Saturday afternoon in Allegan County.
The Pro-Street 1977 Chevy Camaro and enclosed trailer were reported missing on July 3, 2015 from 8841 40th Street, in Bloomingdale Township.
The owner told police that he had left the car in the enclosed trailer on a family member’s property for about two months at this address.
Upon returning for the vehicle, he found that the trailer and vehicle had been stolen.
The stolen vehicle was recovered on Saturday and the enclosed trailer was recovered on Sunday, both in Allegan County.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department would like to thank the public for the tips they received regarding the search.
