Michigan City Police investigating shooting that happened on Holiday Street

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- Michigan City Police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to the 500 block of Holiday Street around 5:15 p.m. and learned one person had been shot.
The person was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses to the incident were interviewed, but police are asking for any additional witnesses or those with surveillance or cell phone video of the incident to contact Corporal Kay Pliske at (219) 874-3221; Extension 1086.
