Donnelly to be sworn into Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Among the new members that will be sworn into Congress on Thursday will be current Indiana 2nd District Congressman Joe Donnelly. He will become Indiana's next U.S. Senator.

Donnelly will take over the seat vacated by Republican Richard Lugar. Donnelly beat Richard Mourdock for the seat in November's election.

Donnelly has already been assigned to serve on three Senate committees: Armed Forces, Agriculture and Aging.
