Police arrest Florida woman for riding manatee

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. -- A Florida woman's stunt with a manatee lands her in hot water.

Police arrested the woman for riding the endangered animal. Police said the 53-year-old rode the manatee back in September.

By the time deputies got to the beach, she was gone. Witnesses gave them a description and photos and eventually she turned herself in.

She said she didn't know it was against the law.
