WASHINGTON, D.C. — The United States Supreme Court is set to hear arguments about in two cases connected to the Defense of Marriage Act.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi believes that the court will strike DOMA down.

"DOMA is definitely unconstitutional," Pelosi said. "I feel pretty confident about, about what will happen there. But you never know, you never know. So we're eagerly awaiting."

For the purpose of federal law, DOMA defines marriage as legal union between one man and one woman.
