PHOENIX, Ariz. -- An Arizona teen mom is in hot water.

Police say 19-year-old Catalina Clouser left her 1-month-old son on the roof of her car, strapped in a car seat and drove off.

The baby tumbled off and landed right in the middle of an intersection. The mom told police she was high on marijuana at the time.

“We were all blown away couldn't believe it,” said Leilani Gerlach. “The car seat was turned to the side so anyone passing by wouldn't be able to tell there was an actual baby inside, thank God they stopped.”

The mom is facing DUI and child abuse charges.

The baby was not hurt and has been placed with Arizona’s Child Protective Services.
