Jess Arnold, Multimedia Journalist

Jess Arnold joined the news team in June 2016 and is excited to launch her career in Michiana!
She hails from Philadelphia, PA and graduated Summa Cum Laude with dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University. She also received minor certificates in Spanish and International Business.
Her passion for storytelling has taken her around the world. During her 2014 semester abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she wrote for the Buenos Aires Herald, the longest-running English newspaper in the city. During her senior year of college, she traveled to Lesbos and Athens, Greece to report on the refugee crisis. She also tried her hand at digital and social media during her Discovery Channel internship, where she produced content for the show Deadliest Catch as well as Shark Week.
At Penn State, she reported, anchored, and produced for the school’s award-winning newscast Centre County Report. One of her stories won the First Place Hearst TV Journalism award for best feature piece in 2016.
Besides reporting, she loves performing, traveling, cooking, and catching up on her latest TV show obsession.
