SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Folks strapped on the helmet and put their foot to the pedal Sunday morning for a cause!
The 4th annual Bike Michiana for Hospice event took off from St. Patrick's park this morning and traveled all around the South Bend area!
Folks were able to see roads not normally traveled by using a bike!
We talked with organizers who think biking is a great way to bring awareness to hospice care.
"It gets people active, it gets them out. A beautiful day today with sunshine and 70° weather. It let's us talk about what we do to care for people with life-limiting illnesses," said Cyndy Searfoss, who helped organize the event.
We spoke with organizers who said they are already starting to plan for next year's big event.
