Brian Kelly among several college football coaches competing in charitable golf tournament

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly will soon trade drop his whistle and clipboard to pick up the golf clubs for a charity event that could earn some scholarship money.

The 12th annual Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge is a charity golf tournament that features 11 other NCAA head coaches and their famous celebrity partners. Brian Kelly will team up with Jimmy Dunne.

Each team will compete at Reynolds Lake Oconee near Atlanta, Georgia for $650,000 in scholarship and charity.

Brian Kelly and Jimmy Dunne will join the 11-team field from April 29 to May 2.

This is the first time Kelly has participated in the event.

This year’s Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge will also feature an inaugural Legends Tournament, consisting of 10 former coaches who will be vying for a share of a $50,000 purse that will go toward their selected charities.

The fields of both tournaments are listed below.
