Four Winds Casino announces job fair info
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds Casinos have announced the dates, times and locations of upcoming job fairs they are hosting.
The job fairs will be held in order to fill an expected 1,200 positions for the South Bend property which is currently moving into the next stage of construction.
According to Four Winds Casinos CFO Frank Freedman, many of the available positions will be hospitality positions in food and beverage for the new location’s five restaurants and three bars.
There will be many other job listings as well.
The first job fair takes place on Saturday, July 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jackson Middle School in South Bend.
Additional job fairs will be held on Saturday, August 5, from 11 a.m. till 4p.m. at Four Winds Field, Saturday September 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jackson Middle School, and Tuesday, October 3 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Century Center.
People interested in jobs at Four Winds Casino South Bend are encouraged to visit the Four Winds website, and look under employment for an in depth list of current job openings.
Freedman also stated that the construction project is more than halfway done and is scheduled to be completed in early 2018.
The new location will be 175,000 square feet and include 1,800 slot machines as well as a retail outlet and 4,500 parking spaces.
Reportedly 300 construction workers have been hired to date.
