Multi-state alert issued for 4 Ohio children abducted by non-custodial mother

    Lima, OH (WLWT) -- Police have issued a multi-state alert after four children were abducted by their mother out of Lima.

Police believe the children are in danger.

Police said the mother, Marianne Merritt, 40, has no custodial rights and is said to be headed to Florida with the children and her boyfriend Charles Perkins.

Merritt is described as white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 210 pounds. She has red hair and green eyes.

Police said Perkins, 39, has active warrants against him and is armed and dangerous. Police said he is abusive toward the children. He is described as white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 164 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Damara Croley, 13, is described as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red Ohio State University shirt and Spiderman web pants.

Benjamin Karl-Leland Croley, 12, is described as a white male, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 120 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing yellow smiley emoji pants.

Patient Wilson, 9, is described as a white female, 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 80 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white top and dark blue or black leggings.

Damien Wilson, 8, is described as a white male, 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 111 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and red and black shorts.

Police believe Merritt is headed to Florida with Perkins and the children in a dark blue 2000 Chrysler Voyager with a white passenger door, Ohio plate number FMQ3175.
